Known for its beaches and Spanish heritage, the name Arenal is based
		on the Spanish word for "sandy spot". The Shire of Arenal is a division
		of the Kingdom of Meridies in the Society for Creative Anachronism.
		We are located in S. Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties, in NW Florida.
		We meet every Sunday afternoon for fighter practice at Optimist Park on
		Langley Avenue in Pensacola and every Thursday, 7:30pm for business
		meetings in room 100, building 1a at the main campus of PJC.
